James & Rebecca

On Saturday 24th March I captured the #wedding of James and Rebecca at Manor By The Lake. There was no snow and the showers had passed over. Although it was cloudy the temperature was good and I was preparing for a lovely day. My day started with Rebecca and it was to see the bridesmaids make-up. I then went on a walk of the grounds and I was taken back by how much this Manor house had to offer. I then went back to see Rebecca have her make-up applied and I captured her dress and details. James was also getting ready at the manor and I met up with him and his groomsmen. Guests started to arrive and I went back to capture the moment Rebecca's dad saw her for the first time in her dress.

The wedding all went to plan and afterwards it's time for the pictures. First there were two lines to form a tunnel, James and Rebecca walked down and got covered in confetti. Welcome drinks got handed out and everybody started to mingle and chat. Phil Webb Photography arranged the personal and group pictures, the details within the wedding breakfast room looked amazing, lots of lighting creating a lovely mood.
After the wedding breakfast there were the speeches, all did a fantastic job and the best man delivered a surprise speech, he had claimed to be nervous but show no signs and it was packed with lots of funny stories and the odd gag. My evening started with getting some night shots of James and Rebecca with Phil the photographer. Inside the party room and there was a magic selfie mirror and a starlit led dance floor. With the cake in the middle of the dance floor that did not stop guests having a pre first dance, dance. For me that is always a sign of a good night ahead. After the first dance the dance floor filled again and danced the night away. Congratulations James and Becky Hardwick x

On Saturday 19th of May I captured the  # wedding  of James and Sophie at the  M Shed . It was the day of Harry and Megan's royal wedding and when I arrived for bridal prep everyone was relaxed in the front room waiting to see Megan's dress on TV. I decided to capture Sophie and her bridesmaid's dress and shoes. When I come downstairs Sophie had presents to give her mum and sister, there was also a card for Sophie from James and a Couple of tears the followed. Sophie then started  to have her make-up applied while mum sorted out Sophie's bouquet, there was a lovely charm of dad that was going to be attached. I made my way to the mshed and it was a rather hot day, Blue sky and sun was everywhere. James arrived with his groomsmen men, they got theyre button holes put on and headed outside for some groomsmen shots. Just after 2.30 the fire alarm sounded and the mshed had to evacuate. There was a few people panicking with the wedding fast approaching but thankfully just...

Craig & Catherine Wedding at Coombe Lodge Blagdon

On Friday 3rd August I captured the #wedding of Craig and Catherine at St Andrew church and Coombe Lodge . It was a lovely day with he sun shining and temperatures were very warm. My day started at Coombe Lodge with Catherine and her bridesmaid's. Catherine was having her hair sorted while the beauty spot sorted out make-up for the bridesmaids. There was a lot of detail in the room to capture with the dresses, shoes, jewelry and a picture of Catherine's mum. Craig also was getting ready at Coombe Lodge and after capturing a few final prep shots I headed to St Andrews church.  A few guests arrived before Craig and his groomsmen arrived, there was only a little time to get a group shot of the groomsmen before more guests arrived. De Gournaywedding cars brought the brides maids and then Catherine and her dad. The bridal walk was lovely and Craig looked relived when the wedding started. During the wedding there were a couple of readings from guests and a lovely address from th...

Robert & Sophie

On Saturday 28th April I captured the #wedding of Robert and Sophie at St. Pauls church Thornbury and a Marquee on Roberts farm. I was excited for the day as it would be my first marquee wedding in 4 years. The weather was looking better then predicted and i hoped it stayed dry. My day started with Sophie at the Grange hotel to see bridal preparations, she was about to have her make-up applied, brides maids were getting their hair styled. I managed to capture dress and details shots and a bucks fizz being opened, with a big cheers shot. I then made my way to Robert who was ready with with his best man and usher. They had a couple of pictures with his tractor before making his way to the church. I went to the church and captured the outside and inside before Robert arrived on his tractor. Guests started to arrive and gather outside the church, Robert's groomsmen then asked everybody to make they're way into the church. Just after the brides maids arrived, Sophie and her dad ...
