A Perfect Memory

On Friday 16th November I captured the #wedding of Paul and Danielle at Coombe Lodge . It was quite a mild day with a thick cloud in the sky, for me it was perfect conditions considering the time of the year and I hope guests would spend a little time outside in the afternoon. My morning started with Danni and she was about to get her make-up applied. The bridesmaids arranged all the dresses and popped open a bottle of bubbly. Everybody seemed relaxed and excited for the day ahead.  I went to see Paul who was with his best man for final preparations once they were both ready they went downstairs to meet the ushers and get the button holes in. Guests started to arrive in the reception area and I popped back upstairs to see Danni in her wedding dress. Dad was outside the room amd it was a lovely moment capturing him see his daughter ready for the first time. On Saturday 20th October I captured the #wedding of Sam and Hannah at the Holy Trinity Bishop Sutton and Coombe Lodge . My day started with Hannah at her parents house. Hannah was busy with make-up and the bridesmaids we having their hair styled. Mum showed my upstairs to the wedding dress and I captured the jewelry and shoes. Sam had got Hannah a lovely engraved bracelet with the wedding date on. Dad got out a big bottle of champagne and popped it open in the kitchen with everybody having a glass. I then moved onto the church to capture the detail shots before the groomsmen arrived.  Sam arrived with his best men and with the ushers already at the church they all got their button holes on and had a few pictures with Jordan. On Friday 3rd August I captured the #wedding of Craig and Catherine at St Andrew church and Coombe Lodge . It was a lovely day with he sun shining and temperatures were very warm. My day started at Coombe Lodge with Catherine and her bridesmaid's. Catherine was having her hair sorted while the beauty spot sorted out make-up for the bridesmaids. There was a lot of detail in the room to capture with the dresses, shoes, jewelry and a picture of Catherine's mum. Craig also was getting ready at Coombe Lodge and after capturing a few final prep shots I headed to St Andrews church.  A few guests arrived before Craig and his groomsmen arrived, there was only a little time to get a group shot of the groomsmen before more guests arrived. On Sunday 29th July I captured the #wedding of Gareth and Helen at Coombe Lodge . The weather had been took a change from the recent heatwave and heavy showers had been forecast. But on my arrival at Coombe Lodge the weather seemed to be clearing and there was a chance we might get outside for some parts of the day. Gareth was first to arrive and he quickly made his way to his room so Helen could arrival and continue preparations.  Helen got her hair styled, her daughters took it in turns getting their hair sorted and another friend helped out with the girls make-up. I captured all of the dresses, Helen's shoes and jewelry. I then went to see Gareth and his step son, there were they were almost ready and applying finishing touches. Helen had got Gareth a love pocket watch as a gift and it was nice to see Gareth put it in his waist coat. On Friday 22nd June I captured the #wedding of Nicholas and Kayley at Coombe Lodge . It was a perfect day, blue skies and not a cloud in sight. It was going to be my second outdoor wedding of the week, great British weather on our side. My day started with Kayley who was busy getting her hair styled by Stacey Jade hair . There was a make-up artist touching up the bridesmaids and Kayley had the flower girls each in turn sitting on her lap while she sorted there hair out. I managed to capture dress and detail shots before going to see nick and his final stages of preparations they were all looking dapper in suits provided by the original mobile Menswear . Once all the groomsmen were ready they went down stairs, got their button holes on and had a picture altogether.  Guest started to arrive and I popped back up to see Kayley getting into her dress and the moment her dad saw her for the first time. On Monday 18th June I captured the  # wedding  of Scott and Alicja at  Coombe Lodge at Blagdon . The weather was looking great and I was set to capture my second outdoor wedding of the year. I started my day with Alicja and her bridesmaid's, a hair dresser was styling the maid of honor and the other bridesmaid's we're getting dresses out, shoes in order and generally helping out. Alicja then had her hair styled and her vale put in. There was just enough time for a bottle of bubbl y to get opened and a big cheers shot. I then went to see Scott who was also getting ready with his groomsmen, the bridesmaids arrived with a present for him and it was a lovely box of gifts and a note in the card. Thankfully Scott had remembered a present and he got his groomsmen to deliver.  Alicja got the jewelry she had wanted to wear with the dress. On Monday 28th May I captured the #wedding of Dale and Sophie at Coombe Lodge at Blagdon . The weather was beautiful and this was going to be my first out door wedding of 2018. My day started at Hillside accommodation to capture Sophie having her make-up applied and the brides maids getting final touch ups with there hair. Sophie had also received a letter and a bracelet from Dale. We then all went to Coombe Lodge for final preparations, I captured the dress details, a bottle of Prosecco being opened and a big cheers shot. Dale and his grooms men arrived and after putting on the button holes they had a group picture and a walking shot. Guests started to arrive and I popped back to see Sophie getting her wedding dress from A Class Brides getting done up. The bouquets of flowers looked amazing from The Sodbury Florist . On Saturday 10th February I captured the  # wedding  of Bradley and Sarah at  Coombe Lodge at Blagdon . This was my first wedding of 2018 and I was excited to get back in to it again. My day started with Sarah for bridal preparations with her bridesmaid's. The was a hair and make-up station and upstairs all the dress and shoes were lined up ready to capture. Sarah was also given a present from Bradley and thankfully he had listened to her request for a pair of ear rings. There was  also a candle and a lovely letter just hot everybody welling up. Just before I left bottle of champagne got popped open and everybody had a toast. I then went to Coombe Lodge to meet Brad and the lads. Unfortunately, it was raining so I managed to get a group shot by the bar area. On Thursday 5th April I captured the  # wedding  of Chris and Kirstie at  Coombe Lodge at Blagdon . There was blue sky everywhere and the sun was out shining. Spring was finally here after almost a month of waiting. My day started with Kirstie and her bridesmaid's.  Stacey Jade Hair  was busy sorting out the brides maids and Kirstie was having her make up applied by  Gemma Everett - Makeup artist/Beauty therapist . Everybody was relaxed and excited for the day ahead. I then met up wit h Chris and his best men and captured they're final preparations before heading back to Kirstie and capturing the champagne getting opened and a big cheers shot. Guests started to arrive and once Chris was ready he came down stairs and greeted them in the gardens. On Monday 2nd April I captured the  # wedding  of Shehan and Anna at  Coombe Lodge at Blagdon . Bad weather had be predicted in the lead up to the wedding so I was bracing myself for a wet indoor wedding. My day started at Coombe Lodge and after capturing detail shots of the venue I met up with Shehan who was busy arranging details with his groomsmen, parents and family. Once he was sorted I captured his preparations with his best men, 5 best men in total because each one were equ al. Shehan had presents for his best men, a bright pair of socks and hip flasks. Que  8 bottles of liquor to fill up all the flasks. Once everybody was ready they came down stairs and helped each other putting on button holes before having a little walk. Just before guests started to arrive, Anna arrived to finish of final preparations by getting into her dress. Guests started to arrive, take their seats and await the bride and her dad.
