James & Sophie @ Mshed

On Saturday 19th of May I captured the #wedding of James and Sophie at the M Shed. It was the day of Harry and Megan's royal wedding and when I arrived for bridal prep everyone was relaxed in the front room waiting to see Megan's dress on TV. I decided to capture Sophie and her bridesmaid's dress and shoes. When I come downstairs Sophie had presents to give her mum and sister, there was also a card for Sophie from James and a Couple of tears the followed. Sophie then started to have her make-up applied while mum sorted out Sophie's bouquet, there was a lovely charm of dad that was going to be attached.
I made my way to the mshed and it was a rather hot day, Blue sky and sun was everywhere. James arrived with his groomsmen men, they got theyre button holes put on and headed outside for some groomsmen shots. Just after 2.30 the fire alarm sounded and the mshed had to evacuate. There was a few people panicking with the wedding fast approaching but thankfully just after 3 everybody was able to go back inside and the wedding was back on. Guests took their seats and awaited the arrival of Sophie, mum and sister. It was a lovely moment as they walked up the aisle and saw James for the first time. The wedding had 2 reading and the best man reacted really well when the registrar asked for the rings, James and Sophie were unaware as it happened behind them but all captured on camera.

After the wedding everybody went downstairs for the confetti shot and a big group shot before going back upstairs for a welcome drink. Simon hunt photography then set up some group shots and the wedding party shots. We went downstairs around the harbour side to capture some amazing personal pictures and James and Sophie shared a relaxing walk. By the time we got up stairs all the guests had taken there seats and we awaiting the speeches. Mum and James delivered great speeches. The two best men speeches were very detailed and left all the guests in stitches. I myself found James past life and antics very amusing.
My evening started with the help of the bridesmaid and together we got many special messages for the happy couple. Brizzle Booth provided a photo booth and it was really enjoyed by everybody. A chocolate fountain with lots of dipping choices was the perfect desert after the BBQ. My favorite part of the day was right at the end of my day, the Bootlegger's Turn come on the dance floor and performed a number of tracks that got everybody rocking. The lead singer even joined guests dancing in the dance floor while singing away. Congratulations James and Sophie x
