Chris & Kirstie

On Thursday 5th April I captured the #wedding of Chris and Kirstie at Coombe Lodge at Blagdon. There was blue sky everywhere and the sun was out shining. Spring was finally here after almost a month of waiting. My day started with Kirstie and her bridesmaid's. Stacey Jade Hair was busy sorting out the brides maids and Kirstie was having her make up applied by Gemma Everett - Makeup artist/Beauty therapist. Everybody was relaxed and excited for the day ahead. I then met up with Chris and his best men and captured they're final preparations before heading back to Kirstie and capturing the champagne getting opened and a big cheers shot. Guests started to arrive and once Chris was ready he came down stairs and greeted them in the gardens. I managed to capture Stacey Jade hair put in Kirstie's Veil and her dad meet her for the first time. Guests stared to take their seats, Chris and his best men walked to the top of the aisle and everybody awaited the arrival of the bridal party. As Kirstie arrived with her dad she looked amazing. The wedding was very entertaining with lots laughter and a lovely reading.
After the wedding, guests got a welcome drink and canapes, while Chris and Kirstie got around and spoke to everybody. Wayne Godwin Reid Photography set up a big group shot and a few family pictures. I then captured Chris and Kirstie take a walk around part of the grounds, then I captured the wedding breakfast room details. The speeches were before the wedding breakfast today and I must say I was very entertained, great speeches from all.

My evening started capturing some personal shots of Chris and Kirstie with Wayne the photographer. I then got the helps from the best men and brides maid to help get as many special messages as we could congratulating Chris and Kirstie. There was a sweet table, love letters and pink mood lighting in the party room. After the cake cutting, there was a first dance and Kirstie had a dance with her dad. Hotshots Entertainment then got the dance floor filled with a number of mixes and some great tunes to cap of a lovely day. Congratulations Chris Durbin and Kirstie Marie Durbin x

On Friday 3rd August I captured the #wedding of Craig and Catherine at St Andrew church and Coombe Lodge . It was a lovely day with he sun shining and temperatures were very warm. My day started at Coombe Lodge with Catherine and her bridesmaid's. Catherine was having her hair sorted while the beauty spot sorted out make-up for the bridesmaids. There was a lot of detail in the room to capture with the dresses, shoes, jewelry and a picture of Catherine's mum. Craig also was getting ready at Coombe Lodge and after capturing a few final prep shots I headed to St Andrews church.  A few guests arrived before Craig and his groomsmen arrived, there was only a little time to get a group shot of the groomsmen before more guests arrived. De Gournaywedding cars brought the brides maids and then Catherine and her dad. The bridal walk was lovely and Craig looked relived when the wedding started. During the wedding there were a couple of readings from guests and a lovely address from th...

Helen Farely stylist was sorting out hair and Anna was having her make-up applied. One bridesmaid helped sort out all the dresses and I was able to capture a lovely shot along with all the shoes and jewelry. Once Anna had her hair styled one of the bridesmaids popped open a bottle of bubbly and everybody had a big cheers shot. I went to see Sean and his best men who were on the final stages of preparations, everybody was relaxed and helping each other out especially when it came to the button holes. Once all the gents were ready we went outside for a few group shots and the best men had found a bottle of Prosecco to pop open. I went back to see Anna who was now in her wedding dress and it was time for her son and dad to see her for the first time. It was a really special moment and it was lovely to c...

I managed to capture dress and details shots and a bucks fizz being opened, with a big cheers shot. I then made my way to Robert who was ready with with his best man and usher. They had a couple of pictures with his tractor before making his way to the church. I went to the church and captured the outside and inside before Robert arrived on his tractor.
