Gareth & Helen Wedding at Coombe Lodge

On Sunday 29th July I captured the #wedding of Gareth and Helen at Coombe Lodge. The weather had been took a change from the recent heatwave and heavy showers had been forecast. But on my arrival at Coombe Lodge the weather seemed to be clearing and there was a chance we might get outside for some parts of the day. Gareth was first to arrive and he quickly made his way to his room so Helen could arrival and continue preparations.
Helen got her hair styled, her daughters took it in turns getting their hair sorted and another friend helped out with the girls make-up. I captured all of the dresses, Helen's shoes and jewelry. I then went to see Gareth and his step son, there were they were almost ready and applying finishing touches. Helen had got Gareth a love pocket watch as a gift and it was nice to see Gareth put it in his waist coat. Down stairs and guests started to arrive,

Gareth and his groomsmen had a few shots together. The wedding ceremony was ready with a flow arch and sashes provided by Enchanted Wedding Decor. I then went back to see Helen having her wedding dress done up. All the children were almost ready with a couple of final touches. Guests started to take their seats in the wedding ceremony room and awaited the arrival of the bridal party. Everybody made it up the aisle and the ceremony was ready to begin. There were 2 readings and the wedding went very well.
My afternoon started indoors as there were a couple of spots of rain in the air, but it wasn't enough to call it rain so guests ventured outside for a confetti shot and a big group shot.  Claire Parfittphotography took Gareth and Helen of for some romantic pictures, once I had captured my footage I went into the wedding breakfast room to capture all the details. The room looked beautiful with a butterfly theme. Just before the food was served there was the speeches. Everybody did very well with laughter and a few stories, there was also a surprise reading from Bradley.
My evening started with the help of maid of honour Pat, she helped get guests together for special messages and I managed to capture a family shot. Evening guests started to arrive and once the party room was ready I captured the details. Cadence Entertainment Limited provided the dj and once everybody had arrived announced the cutting of the cake. The bride and dad took place first before the first dance, my evening ended outside capturing a silhouette shot of Gareth and Helen, Congratulations x

There were 5 very helpful brides maids and setting up all of the dresses and shoes was not a problem. Mark had also got Bethany a lovely memory book with some perfume, champagne and chocolates. I then went to meet up with Mark, his sons and best man Barry to see a few final prep shots. The lads were in good spirits and had been busy setting bits up down stairs.
