On Monday 28th May I captured the #wedding of Dale
and Sophie at Coombe Lodge at Blagdon. The weather was
beautiful and this was going to be my first out door wedding of 2018. My day
started at Hillside accommodation to capture Sophie having her make-up applied
and the brides maids getting final touch ups with there hair. Sophie had also
received a letter and a bracelet from Dale. We then all went to Coombe Lodge
for final preparations, I captured the dress details, a bottle of Prosecco
being opened and a big cheers shot. Dale and his grooms men arrived and after
putting on the button holes they had a group picture and a walking shot. Guests
started to arrive and I popped back to see Sophie getting her wedding dress
from A Class Brides getting done up. The bouquets of
flowers looked amazing from The Sodbury Florist. Sophie had her lipstick
applied and then it was time for dad to see her for the first time. A moment
never to forget with a few tears among the bridal party. Down stairs and guests
started to take there seats and await for the wedding to start. Joe
Pike pianist player the entrance of Sophie and her bridal party. The
wedding all when to plan with a couple of readings from family members.
After the wedding guests got a welcome drink and
canapes, Joe continued to play his piano and A.E Photography set up the big group picture
followed by the small group shots. The wedding party shots were pretty cool
ending with a big walk together on the lawn. Sophie and Dale enjoyed a few
romantic shots before it was time for the wedding breakfast. I managed to
capture shots of the room empty and the cake made by a family member looked
lovely. The speeches were before the wedding breakfast and I did enjoy all of
them.
On the evening there was a sweet cart by My Sweets And Treats and a photo booth for guests
to enjoy. It was still very warm and everybody enjoyed having a drink in the
gardens. I must thank one of the bridesmaids for helping gather guests for
special messages, she did a fabulous job and I know the bride and groom will
appreciate her efforts. It was time for the party to begin, Dizzy
Feet Events had set up and the surrounding up lighting made the room
look very nice. Neil announced the cake cut and first dance before inviting the
guests onto the dance floor and they partied the night away. Congratulations
Dale and Sophie x
