On Saturday 20th October I captured the #wedding of Sam and
Hannah at the Holy Trinity Bishop Sutton and Coombe Lodge. My day started with
Hannah at her parents house. Hannah was busy with make-up and the bridesmaids
we having their hair styled. Mum showed my upstairs to the wedding dress and I
captured the jewelry and shoes. Sam had got Hannah a lovely engraved bracelet
with the wedding date on. Dad got out a big bottle of champagne and popped it
open in the kitchen with everybody having a glass. I then moved onto the church
to capture the detail shots before the groomsmen arrived.
Sam arrived with his
best men and with the ushers already at the church they all got their button
holes on and had a few pictures with Jordan. Guests started to arrive and it wasn't
long until mum and the flower girls arrived in a classic car. The bridesmaids
were next and finally Hannah and her dad arrived in the classic car. Once the
wedding party had walked up the isle Mark the vicar started the ceremony. I was
able to capture the wedding from the front and during the second him I changed
location to the back. This meant I was able to capture the readers and the
address. There was also the local choir in the church and they sang a couple of
lovely songs during the signing of the register, afterwards Sam and Hannah
walked up the Isle as husband and wife.
Outside the church and guests set up two lines for a big
confetti shot. Sam and Hannah got in the classic cat and headed to Coombe
Lodge. At Coombe Lodge and Lee Hatherall photography started the romantic
shots, followed by the bridal party. The was a jazz band in the garden creating
a lovely mood while guests enjoyed a welcome drink and canapes. I captured room
details before Lee set up remaining group pictures to complete his list. The
speeches were before the food and I really enjoyed them. Lots of laughter, a
few tears and some incredible stories.
My evening started getting special guest messages. There was
a guitarist and singer that performed a set for an hour, they were amazing,
performing a mixture of songs acoustically with lots of guests singing and
dancing along. Bristol Photobooths provided a photo booth for guests to enjoy.
There was also a lovely winter sunset with some great colors in the sky, Sam
and Hannah headed outside and got a few shots. When the evening room was ready
Sam and Hannah cut the wedding cake and Hannah throw her bouquet. The
first dance followed and guests joined them to dance the night away.
Congratulations Sam and Hannah x
