Mark & Alexandra

On Friday 4th May I captured the #wedding of Mark and Alexandraat De Vere Tortworth Court. The weather was finally starting to look good after many weeks of unpredictable cold and wet spells. I started my day with Alex and her bridesmaid's to capture hair and make-up along with details shots of the dress and shoes. Whilst capturing preparations staff from Tortworth court surprised Alex with a bottle of Prosecco and 5 glasses, I watched the bottle get popped open and the bridal party enjoyed a cheers shot. I then awaited Marks arrival but he was already in site and in the bar with his groomsmen men. I helped with the button holes and got a few shots of Mark and his grooms men together. By now guests had started to arrive, I went back to Alex to see the final bits of preparation before capturing her dad see her for the first time. Guests started to take there seats and mark with his best man patiently awaited Alex's arrival at the top of the aisle. The brides maids walked up followed by stunning Alex and her dad. The wedding went really well and there was a lovely reading from a friend.

After the wedding guests went into the gardens and Steve Bates Photographer set up a confetti shot followed by the group shots. Guest got a welcome drink and enjoyed the great weather. Mark and Alex had some personal shots before I went to the Orangery to capture detail shots of a Las Vegas themed room. Playing cards as place names and hotels as table name. A lot of effort had go into the plans and it looked fabulous. The speeches were before the wedding breakfast and each speaker delivered well.

After the wedding breakfast I started by getting a range of guest messages, some messages had a lot of energy and a couple nailed a rap impressive. A magician was mesmerising guest with a selection of tricks before shocking Alex with a signed card in a bottle. Guests started to arrive to the evening party and the cake cut and first dance shortly followed. Hotshots Entertainment got the party started after with a number of Indie tracks. My evening ended filming a packed dance floor with lots of different dance moves from guests. Congratulations Mark and Alex x
