Andrew & Stacey @ Walton Park Hotel

On Sunday 27th May I captured the #wedding of Andrew and Stacey at Best Western Walton Park Hotel. The drive down to Clevedon was rather wet with out bursts of showers and I was hoping it would cleat in time for the wedding and afternoon drinks. We I arrived I went to see Stacey and her bridal party for preparations. There was a a hair station and Stacey was busy having her make-up applied. I managed to arrange the dresses and everybody had personalised coat hangers which was a nice touch. One of the bridesmaids got a call to say Andrew wasn't far away so I when down to the front of the hotel to await his special arrival. Andrew arrived with his day in a classic Jaguar. Once out of the car dad sorted out his button hole and cravat. I went back to Stacey and she was now having her hair styled. When the timing was good I got Stacey, mum and bridesmaids on the bed so Stacey could open a special card and present from Andrew. I also captured a bottle of bubbly getting popped open and a big cheers shot. I then went back downstairs to see the best men and by now lots of guests had started to arrive. Once everybody had taken their seats I went back up to Stacey to see her dress being done up. She was now ready for the night day ahead and ready to walk up the aisle. Claire Dibble Harpist was set up and performed as Stacey and her bridal party walked up the aisle. The wedding all went well and there we 2 lovely readings.
After the wedding guests got a welcome drink and headed out the front where Jamie and Mike the photographers were waiting to set up a big group shot followed by a confetti shot. The Sun was out and it was very warm. The was also an ice cream van in the garden serving up 99's to guests. Once the photographers had finished taking photos of guests there were able to get an ice cream. After the bridal party and parents pictures I captured Andrew and Stacey getting an ice cream. I then captured the wedding breakfast room and all the details before guests took there seats. Thankfully the ice cream van was still outside and I managed to get an ice cream, really, really nice in the sun. After the wedding breakfast there was a special cake cutting as Nan had made the cake and there were the speeches and each of the delivered lovely speeches. The best man had but together a special video of Andrew when he was little, some clips were slightly embarrassing lol.
My evening started capturing a few group pictures and guests enjoying magic by Mark. I particularly enjoyed seeing the flower girl take part in the tricks and also create a little magic. Afterwards Andrew and Stacey headed to the pier for a few romantic pictures. It was nice and peaceful by the sea in the sun, a few of the locals also took pictures and it was a lovely setting. When we got back to Walton Park, Mark the magician performed a trick for the bride and groom. my evening ended with the first dance and bride and step dad dance. Congratulations Andrew and Stacey x
