On Friday 24th August I captured the #wedding of Lewis and
Kaisha at Stonehouse Court Hotel. The weather looked nice, warm but with a risk
of a shower. Hopefully that wasn't gonna get in the way of what was set to be a
great day. Once I arrived I went straight to Kaisha and her bridal party, the
were a few hair stations and Kaisha was about to have her make-up applied.
Sorting out all the dresses was fun with 6 bridesmaids, 3 flower girls and the
brides herself with each had personalised coat hangers.
The bouquet of flowers
looked lovely with a couple of memory brooches on. I then went to see Lewis and
his groomsmen, they were busy getting ready and thankfully all looked relaxed.
Guests started to arrive and meet at the bar area and it wasn't long before
Lewis was up to meet them. Kaisha was going through the final stages of prep as her mum tied up her dress and helping put her shoes on before George
came into see her for the first time.
The weather was on our side and
everything had been set up for an outdoor wedding. With the help of a couple if
guests the trees at the back were held up as the bridal party made there
entrance. The wedding ceremony went really well and my highlight was the
readings the Lewis and Kaisha had prepared for each other.
After the wedding guests enjoyed a drink outside while Neil
the photographer took Lewis and Kaisha on a personal shoot. Afterwards they
joined there guests for a drink and a catch up while the children played in the
park area. I went into the wedding breakfast room and captured the candle lit
room, it looked lovely with lots of little details and a personalised candle
gift for each guest.
The speeches were after the wedding breakfast and
everybody did a fine job. Lots of laughter and interaction with the guests.
My evening started with the cutting if the cake, then the
photographer did his group pictures of the family just before the rain come. I
got messages from family and friends, there was also a sweet cart that Lewis
had made being enjoyed by everybody. Once evening guests had arrived it was
time for the first dance, Lewis and Kaisha's children joined them mid way
through before everybody else was invited to the dance floor. My evening ended
with the Photobooth, Firstly getting Lewis and Kaisha to use it and then
seeing guests have fun even using the karaoke option and blasting out Elvis.
Congratulations Lewis and Kaisha x
