Brett & Sophie Wedding at The Walled Gardens Orchardleigh Estate

On Saturday 7th July I captured the #wedding of Brett and Sophie at Orchardleigh estate Church and the Walled Gardens. After capturing the grounds, my day started with Sophie in the Garden house. Bridesmaids were being sorted by 2 makeup artists and a hair stylist. I got Sophie to show me her dress and shoes along with jewellery.  Sophie then started to get her hair styled and a bridesmaid had a surprise gift from Brett. It was a mini mystery game that led to a holiday in Iceland along with some candles and a bath bomb. Sophie's florist arrived with her flowers and then the makeup artist started after her hair had been completed. I then went to the terraced gardens where there was a welcome drinks reception.  Brett was with his groomsmen men meeting and greeting as guests arrived.  I managed to capture a walking shot and a group shot altogether before heading to the church. Upon my arrival I captured the grounds and details inside before the first bus of guests arrived. Thankfully Brett arrived as well and greeted a few guests before taking cover from the sun in the shaded church. After the third bus of guests arrived it was then time for the arrival of the mums, bride’s maids and Sophie with her dad in a beautiful wedding car. The wedding had a lovely reading by Brett's son and a special performance from Sophie's brother during the signing of the register.
After the wedding the was a confetti shot on the bridge before all the guests made their way back to the Walled Gardens. Brett and Sophie arrived in the wedding car, it pulled up in the gardens and I managed to capture a few shots. Guests started to arrive from the church and got a welcome drink and greeted Brett and Sophie. Brad the photographer started to arrange group shots in a shaded area of the gardens. I managed to capture the wedding breakfast room empty and the wedding cake looked amazing. Afterwards I got a few romantic pictures of the happy couple in the lovely gardens. Sophie was wearing a long vale and I was delighted with the slow motion shot of it dropping. Special thanks to the bride’s maid with her help. Guests then joined us in the garden and Brad set up a big group shot before everybody took their seats in the wedding breakfast room.
After the wedding breakfast there were the speeches, all the speeches were very well presented, and guests were entertained throughout. My evening started with getting special guest messages with the help of Adam, he did a great job getting everyone to leave a few special words. Inside the party room and there was a prosecco fountain, sweet table, photo book and a finger print canvas.
After the cutting of the cake Mike from Kieron Clarkentertainment started the first dance with a lovely confetti bomb. Straight after it was the father of the bride that took the dance floor to have a dance with Sophie. My evening ended with the start of Groove Avenue first set, several guests got up on the dance floor and kick started the party. Congratulations Brett and Sophie x
