Joe & Gemma Wedding at Grittleton House

On Saturday 27th October I captured the #wedding of Jewelry and Gemma at Grittleton House. Once I arrived at this spectacular venue i checked out all of its rooms along with the space outside. This venue is a hidden Gem and I was excited to be capturing a wedding here. My day started with Gemma and the bridal party. There were two hair stylists and a make-up artist all busy sorting everyone out. I managed to capture all the dresses with personalised coat hangers, shoes and jewelry.
I went to see Joe and he was at the bar with his groomsmen, I showed a trusting usher how to correctly put on a button hole and he then went around and put one on each of the lads. Back with Gemma and she was getting her wedding dress tied up by her bridesmaid's. Dad was outside patiently waiting and when he walking in and saw Gemma for the first time it was a very proud and emotional moment for him. The isle walk was lovely and the wedding all went to plan with a couple of readings. Brother from another played during the signing and as the happy couple walked down the isle together.
As guests exited the wedding room there were a selection of drinks available and canapes were being offered around. Brad Wakefieldphotography set up group shots outside and as guests comeback inside there were entertained by the acoustic duo Brother from Another. A special performance by the duo led to Gemma and her dad taking to the dance floor and sharing a dance. Guests joined in dancing afterwards and it made for a lovely 20 minutes of afternoon filming. As guest were invited into the wedding breakfast room, Brad the photographer captured a few more romantic shots on the stairs. The speeches were after the food and they were really enjoyable. There was laughter, praise and the odd tear.
My evening started getting special guest messages from family and friends, a big thank you to the ushers for rounding up all the guests on my list, Gemma and Joe will be forever grateful. There was a caricature doing pictures with lots of guests looked great in cartoon form. The wedding cake was the stand out feature in the party room, the Cakesmiths had did an incredible job, after the cutting of the cake the dj announced the first dance. Guests joined in halfway through and then stayed on the dance floor to dance the night away. Congratulations Joe and Gemma x

Craig & Catherine Wedding at Coombe Lodge Blagdon

On Friday 3rd August I captured the #wedding of Craig and Catherine at St Andrew church and Coombe Lodge . It was a lovely day with he sun shining and temperatures were very warm. My day started at Coombe Lodge with Catherine and her bridesmaid's. Catherine was having her hair sorted while the beauty spot sorted out make-up for the bridesmaids. There was a lot of detail in the room to capture with the dresses, shoes, jewelry and a picture of Catherine's mum. Craig also was getting ready at Coombe Lodge and after capturing a few final prep shots I headed to St Andrews church.  A few guests arrived before Craig and his groomsmen arrived, there was only a little time to get a group shot of the groomsmen before more guests arrived. De Gournaywedding cars brought the brides maids and then Catherine and her dad. The bridal walk was lovely and Craig looked relived when the wedding started. During the wedding there were a couple of readings from guests and a lovely address from th...

Sean & Anna Wedding Tortworth Court

On Saturday 3rd November I captured the #wedding of Sean and Anna at Tortworth Court . It was a cloudy day and a light wind in the air. My day started with Anna and her bridal party. Helen Farely stylist was sorting out hair and Anna was having her make-up applied. One bridesmaid helped sort out all the dresses and I was able to capture a lovely shot along with all the shoes and jewelry. Once Anna had her hair styled one of the bridesmaids popped open a bottle of bubbly and everybody had a big cheers shot. I went to see Sean and his best men who were on the final stages of preparations, everybody was relaxed and helping each other out especially when it came to the button holes. Once all the gents were ready we went outside for a few group shots and the best men had found a bottle of Prosecco to pop open. I went back to see Anna who was now in her wedding dress and it was time for her son and dad to see her for the first time. It was a really special moment and it was lovely to c...

Robert & Sophie

On Saturday 28th April I captured the #wedding of Robert and Sophie at St. Pauls church Thornbury and a Marquee on Roberts farm. I was excited for the day as it would be my first marquee wedding in 4 years. The weather was looking better then predicted and i hoped it stayed dry. My day started with Sophie at the Grange hotel to see bridal preparations, she was about to have her make-up applied, brides maids were getting their hair styled. I managed to capture dress and details shots and a bucks fizz being opened, with a big cheers shot. I then made my way to Robert who was ready with with his best man and usher. They had a couple of pictures with his tractor before making his way to the church. I went to the church and captured the outside and inside before Robert arrived on his tractor. Guests started to arrive and gather outside the church, Robert's groomsmen then asked everybody to make they're way into the church. Just after the brides maids arrived, Sophie and her dad ...
