Karl & Amy Wedding at Clevedon Hall

On Saturday 13th April I captured the #wedding of Karl and Amy at Clevedon Hall. It was the perfect day with the sun out, blue skies and not to windy. On my arrival getting shots of the grounds I came across the Clevedon Hall Herring and also a mother duck with about 15 baby ducks. I started my day with Amy and her bridesmaid's.
There was a make-up station and a hair station. Everybody was relaxed and enjoying the day. It wasn't long until Karl arrived with Amy's dad in his special car. The groomsmen were very early but with good reason, they were heading to the pub opposite Clevedon Hall for a couple of drinks. By now Amy was having her hair styled, I captured her dress along with the brides maids dresses. There was also a gift from Karl and a lovely note. Once Amy's hair was completed she popped open a bottle of bubbly and everybody had a big cheers shot. Afterwards I walked to the pub and watch the groomsmen walk back to Clevedon Hall, Karl got his button hole put on and started to meet and greet guests. Amy's mum and a bridesmaid helped get Amy in her wedding dress before dad walked in and saw Amy for the first time. Then the bridal party walked up the aisle to meet Karl and get the wedding ceremony started.
After the wedding everybody went outside where there was a mini receiving line before the big group photo. Jodie Hurd photography set up the remaining group shots before all the guests got time to catch up with Karl and Amy. I went to capture the wedding breakfast room in the brand new Orangery and it looked fabulous.
The room theme was different chocolates and the wedding cake looked amazing. While guests were called to sit down Amy and Karl went on a romantic shoot and I managed to capture some lovely footage. The speeches were after the wedding breakfast and all the speakers were great, but it was the father of the who was most surprising of all delivering a brilliant speech, I'm cracking up now thinking about the cards he had.
My evening started with getting special guest messages from family and friends, I really enjoyed the energy I got from the guests. ParodyPortraits were in the party room and it was great seeing actions throughout the evening from guests who had their character drawn by Ian. Kieron Clarkentertainment had provided a photobooth and evening entertainment. Kieron announced the first dance and it was a brilliant choreographed first dance that surprised all of the guests. My evening ended with everybody dancing on the dance floor and what what a lovely day it was. Congratulations Karl and Amy x

On Friday 3rd August I captured the #wedding of Craig and Catherine at St Andrew church and Coombe Lodge . It was a lovely day with he sun shining and temperatures were very warm. My day started at Coombe Lodge with Catherine and her bridesmaid's. Catherine was having her hair sorted while the beauty spot sorted out make-up for the bridesmaids. There was a lot of detail in the room to capture with the dresses, shoes, jewelry and a picture of Catherine's mum. Craig also was getting ready at Coombe Lodge and after capturing a few final prep shots I headed to St Andrews church.  A few guests arrived before Craig and his groomsmen arrived, there was only a little time to get a group shot of the groomsmen before more guests arrived. De Gournaywedding cars brought the brides maids and then Catherine and her dad. The bridal walk was lovely and Craig looked relived when the wedding started. During the wedding there were a couple of readings from guests and a lovely address from th...

Robert & Sophie

On Saturday 28th April I captured the #wedding of Robert and Sophie at St. Pauls church Thornbury and a Marquee on Roberts farm. I was excited for the day as it would be my first marquee wedding in 4 years. The weather was looking better then predicted and i hoped it stayed dry. My day started with Sophie at the Grange hotel to see bridal preparations, she was about to have her make-up applied, brides maids were getting their hair styled. I managed to capture dress and details shots and a bucks fizz being opened, with a big cheers shot. I then made my way to Robert who was ready with with his best man and usher. They had a couple of pictures with his tractor before making his way to the church. I went to the church and captured the outside and inside before Robert arrived on his tractor. Guests started to arrive and gather outside the church, Robert's groomsmen then asked everybody to make they're way into the church. Just after the brides maids arrived, Sophie and her dad ...
