On Friday 7th September I captured the #wedding of Tim and
Alexandra at Kingscote Barn. It was a fine day with sunshine and blue skies,
thankfully being September the weather was cooler. My day started with
Alexandra and her bridesmaid's. Everybody was busy sorting out their dresses,
shoes ready for me to capture. Just before Alexandra started to have her
make-up applied she decided to pop open a bottle of bubbly with her
bridesmaid's.
While Alexandra was half way through her make-up there was a
knock on the door. It was one of the best men with a surprise package. There
was a box of gifts and a card with a poem in. Just before I left there was
another knock on the door with bijoux floral delivering the bouquets, they
looked stunning. The flower girl have a personalised basket with some beautiful
flowers in. I then went to see Tim and his groomsmen, they were busy
getting ready.
Tim had got everybody a special shoe box full of gifts from ties
to cuff links and a pair of socks along with other bits to help get them through
the wedding day. I visited the wedding ceremony room where the flowers just
looked beautiful, there was also dried confetti on seats. Tim and his groomsmen
appeared from the room to get there button holes in and I captured a walking
shot in the gardens. Guests started arriving and I heard that Alexandra was
making good progress with preparations so I went back to her room to capture
her dress being done up. Meanwhile guests were invited to take their seats and
Tim along with his best men stood patiently at the top of the aisle. Alexandra
was escorted up the aisle by her very proud Uncle. During the wedding there was
two readings and one very happy couple. As Tim and Alexandra walked back up the
aisle together guests throw confetti marking the end of a lovely wedding
ceremony.
The afternoon started with guests enjoying a welcome drink
and there were garden games out. The photographers set up group and personal
pictures before Tim and Alexandra mixed in with guests. I captured the details
in the wedding breakfast room and each guest had a Krispy Kreme donut as a
gift. The speeches were before the wedding breakfast and I really enjoyed them.
Tim had a special video from James Haskell, the best men had a video
embarrassing Tim with lots of funny pictures. The wedding breakfast was one of
the most talked about subjects. Clever Chiefs had a roast beef open top pie or
chicken and ham open top pie. I must say the food looked and tasted great.
My evening started with getting special guest messages, the
was a magic mirror that guests were enjoying. When the party room opened there
was the cutting of the cake before a special surprise for Tim. Alexandra had
recorded her own version of the first dance song that Tim really enjoyed
dancing to. Ali Laurence was the DJ and he got guests up dancing After the first
dance. My evening ending capturing sparklers in the garden. Guests formed two
lines for the bride and groom to walk down, they then went to the led lit
pergola and had a couple of final romantic shots. Congratulations Tim and
Alexandra x
